UPDATE: Keeping up with the strange and unusual, I now present my art! I first started out as an artist, getting into the realm of folklore through the study of ancient paintings and sculpture. Friends Of Folklore started when a guy by the name of Matt Ward (me) from Chicago moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and began writing about the weird and wonderful. When writing, he began exploring the Southwest United States and beyond, hearing stories, making connections, establishing theories.

Friends Of Folklore, 18 articles later, now extends into a blog and website format to continue the quest to share the knowledge of what lurks in the shadows just beyond the headlights.
